2010 Show Garden & Fireside Studio Rental Information

Have your next meeting, wedding, graduation or corporate event in the intimate, old world atmosphere of the award winning Con Boland Show Garden and Fireside Studio. We can accommodate up to 250 people in the centrally located Con Boland Show Garden.

This immaculately maintained river valley show garden has won many awards, including a Western Living Award and a first place in the Edmonton Horticultural Society “Grand Garden Challenge”. It was voted best garden by the Edmonton Journal readers poll for eight consecutive years. You can visit www.conboland.com/garden for photographic images of this secluded and magical paradise.

We provide ample parking and you can create a pleasant atmosphere with music from our outdoor sound system. Use our music library or bring you own CDs.

The Fireside Room/Theatre can comfortably accommodate a wedding party of up to 20 people and features:

• 10 foot ceilings and rich draperies with a 31 foot brick, wood-burning fireplace
• State-of-the-art NAD Master Series sound system

We have designed this garden as a labour of love. For your complete privacy the garden is closed to the public. If you are interested in booking, feel free to come and check it out. For tents, stages, table, catering, portable washrooms, etc. I have prepared a list of some of the most reputable companies that will help meet any specific requirements you may have.

We would love to capture your memories with our photography, www.conboland.com but this is not mandatory. You are free to take as many pictures as you like or to bring your own photographer.

2010 Garden and Fireside Studio Rental Pricing

A half day is 4 hours, ideal for smaller weddings, needing less preparation.
In addition to the standard package, a full day booking includes:

• Previous day set-up of chairs, tents, canopies, etc.
• Rehearsal time on another day, before the wedding.

There is a $ 125.00 discount for weekday and Sunday bookings

Included in your wedding package:

• Private use of the Con Boland show garden
• Use of the indoor Fireside Studio for the wedding party
• Use of our elegant, skylit, Kohler washroom/dressing room
• High-end music system with outdoor speakers (not a P.A.) 
• Use of a white, cast-iron signing table
• Freedom to decorate to suit your color choices
• Use of power and outdoor electrical outlets

Please note that in order to secure your wedding date we require a signed rental agreement and a non-refundable retainer for the full rental amount.
We will gladly check for availability of the date and time of your wedding.
